dwt received a huge response from the launch of this new scheme and spent three busy weeks going out to local people’s homes to lend a hand with their odd jobs. Everything from putting up towel rails to fixing dodgy doorbells, dwt were more than happy to help. 98% of people who requested work were seen to and all customers were very pleased with the professional service they received. dwt undertook over 50 jobs throughout the scheme, amounting to over £1800 worth of work, but the local plumbing firm were happy to help out in their spare time.
dwt would like to say a big thank you to ‘Your Local’ Newspaper for promoting the scheme, and of course a huge thank you to everyone who rang up in response to the scheme and all the kind comments they put forward.
